Scholarship Program
It is no secret that the rising cost of higher education deters students from pursuing their dreams of attending college. Since 2007, SECU has offered scholarships to Maryland state employees and their families seeking higher education to offset the financial burden of earning a degree. In an effort to make a greater impact, starting in 2020, our scholarship program is now open to all SECU members regardless of where they attend school or their membership affiliation. Since the program’s inception in 2007, over $700,000 has been awarded.
